If you do not have a diving certification or have never dived before we can take you diving at this site on a "Try Scuba Diving Program". Its still two dives, the same as qualified divers, but you will be supervised directly by a qualified Instructor at a maximum ratio of 2 divers per guide when they take you diving and limited to a maximum diving depth of 12 metres.
This is more than deep enough to see and explore the wreck and all you need is to be medically fit and be comfortable in the water. The cost of this program is $119 per participant, for two dives as a "Try Scuba Diver", which includes the cost of hiring all the equipment. The "The Try Diving" program comprising of two two ocean dives and is suitable for more confident participants or people that have already completed a pool training session, or have dived previously. The program is comprised of a short briefing by the instructor about basic diving skills, signals and communications and how to dive safely - followed by an entry into the ocean in scuba equipment and an introduction to the basic diving skills in shallow water, giving an opportunity to become comfortable with these scuba skills before proceeding with the dives. The dives are led by a PADI qualified dive leader with close personal supervision, at a maximum PADI allowed ratio of not greater than 4 divers per dive professional, but we prefer to keep the ratio to 2:1 fo extra safety.
As an option, and for people who may prefer to spend more time practicing skills or would like to build their confidence before making the ocean dive.
