If a quote looks unusually low, check which of these are actually bundled in — some operators quote a base price and add equipment or site fees separately.

What Moves the Price

Group size matters: private or semi-private instruction costs more than joining a group class. Course length also varies — the standard 3–4 day format costs less per day than a compressed or highly flexible private schedule. Where your open water dives happen matters too; sites requiring boat access add a transport cost that shore-based sites don't.
